As well as the sea, there are also the lakes in the Veneto Region that are a real and proper tourist attraction. How can one not mention Lake Garda and the panorama that seems painted around it, where small and characteristic lakeside locations like Lazise or Peschiera del Garda fascinate all tourists.
Imposing mountains, the snow-topped Dolomites in Belluno, are frequented by millions and millions of tourists who love winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, whilst those who love cross country skiing will find a garden of Eden in the Altopiano di Asiago! Renowned is the pathway called "Cammino delle Dolomiti", an itinerary which takes the tourist on a journey which covers the really characteristic locations: Certosa di Vedana, Gares, the Valle di San Lucano, the abandoned mines in the Valle Imperina, the Col di Lana, and others.
It will not be difficult to find an oasis dedicated to total relax, as well as the different proposals and packages which the numerous hotels in the Veneto Region can offer, there are entire areas dedicated to physical and psychological wellbeing - the spa's: the Consorzio Terme Euganee e Recoaro Terme, where it is possible to undergo hydropinic therapy.
The nature pathways will make young and old very enthusiastic. One will find oneself in natural parks where nature really seems uncontaminated: The Parco Naturale Regionale Ponte di Veja - Lessinia, the Oasi di Cà Mello sul Delta del Po, or the Orto Botanico di Padova which has been declared world patrimony of UNESCO.
