Bibione, a seaside resort in Veneto on the north Adriatic shore, offers modern standards of service and comfort and boasts very comfortable Hotels and accommodation facilities. The season kick-starts with the Festa dell’ Asparago (Asparagus Festival) and ends in September with the Septemberfest, the traditional festival of grapes and wine. Bibione is between 2 important cities, Venice and Trieste. The city is well connected, as it is not far from Venice Marco Polo airport and has excellent urban and extra urban bus transportation services. For those keen on wines and vineyards, there are tours along the wine route visiting wine cellars and vineyards, where wine producers show visitors around. On the other hand, young people can enjoy Acquasplash water park or Punta Verde zoological gardens. Going back to the sea, Bandiera Blu (Blue Flag) grants tourists clean and pristine waters. Safety of course is of major importance, and well-trained lifeguards are prepared to tackle any kind of rescue on the water. They, however, are also watchful for what happens on the beach since there are people playing football, bowls and beach tennis, practicing surf and water skiing, sailing and paragliding. Bibione has a population of about 12,000 inhabitants, covers 112 sqkm with a density of 102 people/km.
