Corvara

Located in the Bolzano Province, Corvara in Badia is a municipality of approximately 1,300 inhabitants and is situated in the territorial area of Val Pustena, in Ladinia. The name of the town, Corvara, date back to the 14th century and it means "place inhabited by crows". The local economy is mainly based on international tourism: all those tourists who have admired and appreciated the splendour of Pralongià, of the Sella Massif and Sasshonger are strangely attracted by these places. This is why the accommodation facilities in Corvara and in the surrounding towns are always crammed with visitors.
