Alba Adriatica

Alba Adriatica is situated in the Abruzzo region, bordering with Marche region, and is the most famous seaside resort of the coast of Teramo, with silver beaches and crystalline waters.
Alba Adriatica is the ideal place both for families with children and for young people, and offers many hotels and other tourist facilities.
Despite the sandy seafloor, the sea is always crystal clear.

You can choose among private, well-equipped beaches and well-maintained public beaches located in the pinewood, surrounded by the scent of the sea and the fragrance of pine trees.
A great number of water sports can be enjoyed on Alba Adriatica's beaches, from windsurfing to sailing. Furthermore, bike lovers can ride along the 25 km-long bike path or enjoy mountain bike excursions in the surrounding hills.

The promenade in Alba Adriatica is 3 km long and is located between the beach and the lively seafront where you can enjoy relaxing walks surrounded by the green of the palm trees and the scent of the sea. You can also enjoy a bike ride, go jogging or meet up with your friends.

Alba Adriatica was founded on July 14, 1956. Originally, it was a little town belonging to the municipal area of Tortoreto. Since the beginning, Alba has boasted a strong tourist tradition and today is one of the most renowned seaside resorts of the Abruzzo region. During the summer, its population reaches up to 80,000 people.

In Alba Adriatica tourists have the possibility to visit many local markets, such as the antique market.

Alba Adriatica has a population of 11,000 inhabitants, extending on a surface area of 9 square km representing a density of 1153 inhabitants per square kilometre.
