For those who prefer stronger emotions, one cannot miss out on a visit to the marine grotto's of the Sardegna Region: Grotta Pizzi e Ricami and Grotta di Nettuno in Alghero, Grotta dei Palombi on the Island of Foradada, Grotta del Miracolo in Ogliastra, and Grotta del Fico.
However, the Sardegna Region is also a mountainous Region where it is possible to practice different mountain sports: Monti di Uta, Parco Naturale Regionale di Gutturu Mannu, Parco Naturalistico di Tepilora, Parco Naturale Regionale dell'Oasi di Tepilora, Parco del Gennargentu, Monte Limbara, Monte Albo, and many others.
