Santa Caterina Valfurva

Santa Caterina Valfurva is in Valtellina, at the heart of the Stelvio National park. It is a typical alpine region, surrounded by very high mountains that encompass all the main mountainous characteristics. There is a good ski complex with an ample ski area, always well-covered by snow. In fact, Santa Caterina Valfurva hosts several international competitions, mainly cross-country skiing, on 10/ 5-kilometre loops situated deep into nature. Nevertheless, the area offers tourists who do not love skiing the chance to visit places of cultural interest and taste the delicious food the inhabitants of this valley feel so proud of. Besides, tourists can also visit the Valfurva Valley Museum and the Mineral and Natural History Museum.
